{"id":1089,"date":"2022-12-12T11:41:32","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T11:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/purgingword.org\/?p=1089"},"modified":"2023-06-29T06:16:23","modified_gmt":"2023-06-29T06:16:23","slug":"foolish-anger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purgingword.org\/?p=1089","title":{"rendered":"Foolish Anger"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Proverbs 12:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><em>\u201cAn ignorant fool\u2019s anger is known at once, but a prudent man conceals disgrace.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Anger is one of the natural emotions that we often feel especially when something we don\u2019t like happens. When certain people try to get under our skin, there are times we cannot help ourselves but heap anger and throw it at people without even thinking about the possible consequences of our actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">What should a prudent man do when people try to disgrace us? I heard a preacher say before, &#8220;I don&#8217;t defend myself from haters, the Lord will defend those who are worthy to defend for His glory.&#8221; He adds, &#8220;truth and time go hand in hand.&#8221; Is it not beautiful and practical? No matter what you do in this life, some people will try to destroy your faith in the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">This proverb says, \u201cconceal\u201d it. In other terms, \u201coverlook\u201d it. Do your business for the Lord. let them do what they want to do against you until they get tired. When we allow anger to take over our hearts and minds, it will lead us to do ignorant things. It will be exposed in due time and that will be our inevitable disgrace to our name, ministry, and the Lord&#8217;s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Do not be caught up in foolish anger. Certainly, there is a thing called \u201crighteous anger\u201d that comes from a true understanding of the situation. There is wise anger. We will need wisdom from above to practice wise anger.
