The first one talks about a person with integrity and righteousness. He lives uprightly and blamelessly in the sight of God. While the other is a man who lives wickedly. A righteous man versus a wicked man.

Indeed, their practice is rooted in their worldview, belief, and convictions. We all know that a man who is guided by God’s wisdom lives righteously and a man who despises God’s wisdom lives wickedly.

A wicked man practices evil deeds and harms not only himself but also his fellow man. He does not care about the consequences of his diabolical deeds. A wicked man delights in lawlessness. He propagates atheism, idolatry, and many other sins.

But a righteous man constantly practices what is right in the sight of the Lord. He is fully aware that he is fragile and flawed which is why he keeps his feet touched on the ground and remains reliant on God’s power and word. No doubt, that when a righteous man failed God, his immediate response is to repent and go back to God’s presence his almighty King.

Thus, the result is whether a blessing or a curse. Grace or justice, forgiveness, or punishment. A man who lives blamelessly for God’s glory will receive blessings. And in this case, he got the favor of God. This is not necessarily a specific land, but a place where he can enjoy God’s presence and stay for God. While the other man receives disapproval, reproof, and rejection from God by cutting him off from the land. God is decisive in His actions. We cannot and should not question God.

The bottom line is that God gives favor, grace, and blessing in any form to those who follow His word and will, and God rejects those people who reject Him, hated Him, and fight against Him.

The question is, are you a man of wisdom? Are you living in God’s will? Or are you the man who hates and disobeys God?

What is your response now?

Proverbs 2:21-22 “For the upright will live in the land and the blameless will remain […]

[27

post-1110","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-devotional
https://purgingword.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Logo-7_Devotion_Purging-Word_Title-Cover_1200-x-628-copy.jpg
["GET
