Generally speaking, this gives us the idea that “acknowledge” is about knowing something and being intimately aware of something. In other words, there is an ongoing discovery between A and B for the sake of knowing each other.

Since this is the case in this verse, the father told his son that in everything, always know God. This means, knowing God personally and intimately your God. It implies that in every action that we make and will do in our life, we must consult God if it will affect our relationship with God as we apply this verse.

Ask ourselves, “do my plans will give God’s glory?” or “Will these actions get me closer to or push me away from God?” or “Am I reflecting God’s image, or living a life that He wants me to live?” Acknowledging God in everything is having an awareness to give honor to God and consciousness if we are being a pleasing aroma to Him.

When we depart from God’s counsel, we are departing from God’s guidance. The result is chaos and unpredictable ruin in our lives. But when we begin to know Him and think about His will and submit to it wholeheartedly like a faithful son to his wise and loving father, we will never go wrong in this fraudulent life.

God’s promise will never be broken. He always fulfills what He started. Who does not want to have a better and more honorable life? I want an honorable and pleasing life for God, and I am sure you want it too. A straight path is not easy, but it is possible only in God, by His grace, and only by knowing and following God’s whole counsel to us.

You have a choice to make today, Acknowledge God in everything or ignore God in everything. Even if we consider half of God’s will and ignore half of it, still we disregard it fully.

Half-heartedness is an enemy of spiritual growth and is not pleasing God. What is your decision? May the Lord grant us wisdom and strength in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” […]

[27

post-1119","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-devotional
https://purgingword.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Logo-7_Devotion_Purging-Word_Title-Cover_1200-x-628-copy.jpg
["GET
